Description

This handloom Kanchipuram silk saree, meticulously crafted on traditional fly-shuttle pit looms by artisans, embodies the sacred vibrancy of kumkum orange resham body—a hue drawn from vermilion tilaks, symbolizing marital bliss and Devi's auspicious energy in Vedic rituals. Gracefully scattered across the pure silk are intricate gold zari horse (kudirai) motifs in circular patterns, evoking the mythical divine steeds of temple chariots and royal processions from Chola epics, denoting speed, power, and prosperity.

Traditional Craftsmanship
Resham Body: Lustrous kumkum orange silk, handwoven for enduring sheen, adorned with all-over circular horse buttis for pooja sanctity and festival grandeur.

Golden Zari Border: Broad expanse of heavy zari floral creepers (kodi visiri) and lotuses, korvai-interlocked to mirror ancient gopuram carvings symbolizing abundance.

Pallu Grandeur: Fully enveloped in cascading gold zari stripes and drops, a pinnacle of bridal Kanjivaram weave
