Refund policy

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
To cancel your order, please email us at support@daarakale.com with your order ID.
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible.


Returns & Exchanges

 After Delivery, Items are eligible for return or exchange within 3 days of Delivery.

To request a return or exchange, please email us at support@daarakale.com with:

  • Your order ID

  • The reason for return/exchange

  • Clear photos of the product

Our courier partner will arrange a pickup within 2–3 business days, and it may take 12–13 business days for the parcel to reach us.
All returns and exchanges are processed only after product inspection at our facility.


Refunds

Refunds for cancelled or returned orders are initiated only after we receive and inspect the returned product.

  • Refund initiation time: within 3 business days after inspection

  • Credit timeline: 5–7 business days for the amount to reflect in your original payment method

Return shipping charges are to be borne by the customer.


Silk Sarees

For silk sarees (excluding pure silk sarees; see “Non‑returnable items” below):

  • Silk sarees are eligible for exchange if returned in their original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact


Return & Exchange Charges
  • Return charges: INR 150 per order (covers return shipping)
  • Exchange charges: INR 300 per order (includes both return pickup and reshipment of the exchanged product)

These charges will be deducted from the refund amount or charged separately in the case of exchanges.


Fair Use Policy

Customers who have returned more than three consecutive orders may be restricted from returns or exchanges for the next three months.
This helps us maintain fair usage of our services and keep operations sustainable for our artisan-led supply chain.


Non-returnable / Non-exchangeable Items

For hygiene, customization, and product integrity reasons, no returns or exchanges are accepted on:

  • Pure Silk Sarees

  • Cotton Sarees with pure Silk border

  • Handloom Cotton Sarees

Our Rights

Daarakale reserves the right to:

  • Cancel orders in case of unforeseen issues such as payment concerns, stock unavailability, or address verification problems

  • Deny returns or exchanges if the product fails quality checks, shows signs of use, damage, or tampering, or if the request violates this policy
