Haritha
Description
This handloom Kanchipuram silk saree, artfully woven on traditional pit looms by master weavers, exudes verdant prosperity through its vibrant green resham body in a fine checkered pattern, reminiscent of temple courtyard grids symbolizing harmony and abundance in ancient South Indian traditions. In Hindu culture, green symbolizes nature's fertility, renewal, and the heart chakra's love, often linked to Lakshmi's blessings for growth and marital harmony, making it auspicious for weddings and festivals. Delicately scattered all over the body are gold zari navilu (peacock) and rudraksha buttis, sacred motifs invoking Krishna's regal grace and Shiva's protective beads for spiritual safeguarding during poojas and samskaras.
