Description

This handloom Kanchipuram silk saree, artfully woven on traditional pit looms by master weavers, exudes verdant prosperity through its vibrant green resham body in a fine checkered pattern, reminiscent of temple courtyard grids symbolizing harmony and abundance in ancient South Indian traditions. In Hindu culture, green symbolizes nature's fertility, renewal, and the heart chakra's love, often linked to Lakshmi's blessings for growth and marital harmony, making it auspicious for weddings and festivals. Delicately scattered all over the body are gold zari navilu (peacock) and rudraksha buttis, sacred motifs invoking Krishna's regal grace and Shiva's protective beads for spiritual safeguarding during poojas and samskaras.

Traditional Craftsmanship
Resham Body: Lustrous green pure silk with checks and buttis, handcrafted for enduring sheen and lightness in daily rituals.

Double Zari Border: Twin bands of heavy gold zari featuring rudraksha circles and peacock feathers, korvai-interlocked to mirror Chola gopuram artistry.

Pallu Grandeur: Fully enveloped in cascading gold zari maanga patterns, denoting fertility and Lakshmi's blessings for bridal mangalya
