Description

A maroon Kanchivaram pure handloom cotton saree combines a deep Pink base with double color contrasts of mentya (honey-gold) and adike shades, creating subtle tonal shifts across the body for visual depth. Delicate buttas—small woven motifs like dots—scatter evenly over the body, adding texture while keeping the lightweight cotton breathable. The double border design features layered gold zari bands matching the image's vibrant pure gold hue, with intricate temple-inspired patterns framing the edges.

Border Details
The dual borders showcase a wider outer gold zari strip with geometric motifs, paired with a narrower inner band in mentya-adike tones for contrast. This korvai weaving joins the cotton body seamlessly to the borders, emphasizing handloom authenticity.

Pallu Features
The pallu displays dense gold zari elephant and peacock designs in horizontal rows—elephants in majestic processions beside fan-tailed peacocks—tapering into fine vines at the ends.

Body Ornamentation
Buttas in gold zari dot  maintaining elegance suitable for daily or festive wear.

Handloom :
Authentic handloom sarees are crafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques, resulting in unique characteristics such as extra loose threads, slight weave irregularities, or minor color variations. These features are not defects or damage but hallmarks of genuine handloom quality, ensuring each piece is one-of-a-kind. Gentle care, like dry cleaning only, preserves their heritage beauty for generations.
